Treebox Team

Stephen Blamire – Director

Upon graduating from Anglia Ruskin University in 2000,  Stephen has successfully worked alongside a number of businesses as a key strategic advisor, helping companies develop both strategically and financially.

Stephen’s passion for the natural environment is matched by his enthusiasm to connect with people on a personal level – resulting in an approach that focuses on three main pillars: People, Planet and Business.

Stephen is a keen environmentalist and boasts a collection of over 100 internal plants grown from seed or cuttings. When Stephen is not busy tending to his impressive plant collection, he is out enjoying his natural surroundings by going on walks, runs and the occasional sail!

Matt Lindsay – Project Manager

After graduating from the University of Chichester in 2016, Matt specialised in Urban Planning with a particular focus on the role of Public Art in our cities and towns. Matt’s research into Public Art has seen him be awarded with the Maureen French Award and the #chiartworks Funding Initiative.

Post-graduation, Matt worked in Operations and R&D roles before combining his interests in Public Art and Green Infrastructure in the role of Project Manager for Treebox (Biotecture).

Aside from being a keen cyclist and amateur horticulturalist, Matt continues to undertake research into green infrastructure and the way in which plants can be used to increase air quality through phytoremediation.

Chetan Rama – Project Manager

After studying development studies and human geography Chetan had the pleasure of working in a trade union,  teaching English in Japan,  publishing, and photography. Chetan kept in touch with his primary interest in the relationship between society and environment through volunteering and community engagement, and now continues his journey with Treebox to close the gap between humans ‘here’, and the environment ‘there’.

Chetan finds motivation in the power of nature, human ingenuity, being part of a movement to improve the cities we live using simple yet effective ideas and solutions.
